Must have baby apps, must have pregnancy apps, postpartum apps, postpartum instagram pages.

Must Have Baby Apps & Instagram Profiles

I found these baby apps and instagram pages extremely helpful through pregnancy and once Bella was born. Some of them are more well known then other and some of them I stumbled upon while trying to find a solution for a problem.

Pregnancy

What To Expect
This was one of the first Apps I downloaded as soon as we found out we were expecting. Each week we got updates on the developmental stages the baby was going through while in my tummy. This was really helpful in allowing my husband and I to understand what was going on in my body.

@Mommy.labornurse
Liesel is hilarious! She is labor and delivery nurse and is constantly sharing informative information for moms to be. Every Sunday she does Q & A sessions. I use to look forward to these each week. She answers questions from expecting moms and talks about topics that I would have never thought to ask.

I mention Cara in a few of my posts. She is a baby sleep whisperer!! She was previously a neonatal nurse, is married to a pediatrician and she knows EVERYTHING about baby sleep. I started following her when I was pregnant and took her first course right before Bella was born. Her page became even more useful after Bella was born but it was great to become familiar with everything when I had the time.

Postpartum

Uber Eats/ GrubHub
If you don't already have a food delivery service app, download one asap. After our family/friends had been over to deliver meals my husband and I probably would have starved if it wasn't for Uber Eats. These delivery services make is so easy for you to order food at all hours of the day.

Glow Baby
I was so thankful that a momma friend shared this app with me. As soon as Bella was born I was able to keep track of her dirty diapers and feedings. The pediatrician always wanted to know how many diapers she was having and with this app I could easily pull up the info. It also tracks how much food you are feeding them as well as helps track the amount of time you are spending nursing and how much you pump. Below is a screenshot of my week when Bella was just a few weeks old.

The Wonder Weeks
This App gives you updates on your babies developmental leaps. It is nice to know why a baby might be a little more fussy and prepares you for a hard leap ahead. For me, having an understanding on what Bella was going through made the postpartum period much easier. It also gives you tips and suggestions for games and activities you can do with your baby.
Calm
It is so important during the postpartum period to take time for yourself. I found this App helpful to be able to dedicate a couple minutes to myself where I could just relax and breathe. I found that the best time to listen to it was while pumping. I tried the free trial first and after running out of meditations, I purchased the subscription.

@Legendairymilk
Although I have never tried their products, this instagram page has so much informative info when it comes to breastfeeding and pumping.

@AZ.Breastfedbabies
Amey is a labor nurse and lactation consultant. She shares so many nursing tips and encouraging posts- I highly recommend any nursing/pumping mommas follow her.

@Toneitup- I LOVE these ladies! Their workout videos are quick, cute and easy to do! I love picking a couple to do during nap time.
